Dermatological Surgery


The Dermatologic Surgery and Laser Center is located on the fourth floor of the Phillips-Wangensteen Building on the University campus.  We provide a variety of current therapies, including skin cancer surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, evaluation and/or removal of pigmented lesions (moles) and other dermatologic lesions,  melanoma treatment and consultation, laser surgery (for birthmarks, hemangiomas, tattoos, warts, scars, and wrinkles),photodynamic therapy,  treatment of varicose veins, soft tissue augmentation, and other cosmetic procedures. 

Our physicians in the Dermatologic Surgery and Laser Center are committed to delivering medical care that combines excellent service and compassion, with innovative research and educational programs.  The faculty physician is responsible for all aspects of your care, either directly or in conjunction with residents and fellows.  Our dermatologic surgeons are certified by the American Board of Dermatology and are fellows of the Association of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.

Dr. Peter K. Lee is the Director of the Dermatologic Surgery and Laser Center and also Director of the Melanoma and Pigmental Lesion Clinic at the University of Minnesota.
