Dermatology Grand Rounds

In addition to our regular afternoon Grand Rounds sessions on the 4th Wednesday of each month, on the second Wednesday of each month the Department of Dermatology hosts community-based Grand Rounds at the University.  With over 80 adjunct faculty in the department, we believe that this new time and venue will provide opportunity for enhanced educational and social interactions for all students, residents and faculty affiliated with the department and University.  In addition to traditional patient viewing and discussion, we host a dinner and speaker each month.
An interactive format for the event increases access for community physicians and adjunct faculty to the expertise and broader perspective of other dermatologists for the benefit of their patients.  Likewise, our medical students and dermatology residents will learn from these discussions.
If you have questions or would like to schedule a patient for Grand Rounds, please contact Jane Boyer, Grand Rounds Coordinator, at 612-626-4454 or boyer009@umn.edu
