Application Procedure

We accept applications via the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) only.  American Medical Graduates should contact their Dean's Office for information.  International Medical Graduates should contact the ECFMG.  Click on the link to access the ERAS Application.

No paper applications will be accepted.  If you would like to apply to our program, your complete ERAS application should include:

>An official Dean's letter from your school
>A minimum of three letters in support of your application
>A transcript from your medical school
>Results of all USMLE examination scores
>A recent photograph

Application deadline is October 31st at 5:00 pm CDT.  We do not accept applications after this deadline.  We understand that most Dean's letters will arrive soon after the deadline has passed.

International Medical Graduate Applicants

International medical graduates must be able to satisfy the English language proficiency requirement for ECFMG certification.  The University of Minnesota's Dermatology Residency Program sponsors only J1 visas.  There are no special requirements for international medical graduate applicants other than being ECFMG certified.
