Professional Biography
Dr. Blaeser attended the University of Minnesota Medical School, and did two residencies in internal medicine and dermatology. As an internal medicine resident she managed many patients whose systemic diseases manifested themselves on the skin. These patients sparked her interest in dermatology, and after completing her internal medicine residency, she began a career as a dermatology resident. She sees dermatology not only as a specialty of skin diseases, but also as the study of the external manifestations of many internal diseases. She also enjoys helping patients feel good about themselves by looking their best, and believes that what better way is there to accomplish this purpose than teaching how to care for their skin?
