Dr. Saxena is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Minnesota Dermatologic Society, the Minnesota Medical Association and the Ramsey County Medical Society.  She has received numerous awards as an undergraduate, in medical school and during her residency.

Dr. Saxena is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a diplomate of the United States National Board of Medical Examiners.  She was the recipient of the Alexander A Fisher Award in 2000.
