The world-renowned Department of Dermatology at the University of Minnesota is active in both clinical research and basic science research. Faculty within the department collaborate with faculty at affiliated hospitals and other departments within the University, such as the Department of Neuroscience and the Masonic Cancer Center. These collaborations and other independent studies have led to innovative discoveries and pioneering breakthroughs to improve health care for a variety of patients.
