Recent honors, awards and presentations
Dermatology resident Diana Cohen, MD was nominated/selected to attend the inaugural Dermatology Entrepreneurship Conference in May, 2015.
Dermatology resident Kevin Gaddis, M.D., has been nominated and selected to serve as a representative to the Association of American Medical Colleges Organization of Resident Representatives (AAMC ORR).
Lisa Hurliman MD, PhD and Leah Swanson, BS presented at the annual Society for Investigative Dermatology meeting on May 9, 2014 in Albuquerque.
Medical Student Dan Groth and Department Chair Maria Hordinsky, M.D., presented at the 8th World Congress for Hair Research 2014 on Jeju Island in South Korea.
Research Fellow Nathan Welty received the 2014 J. Jacob Kaplan award from the University of Minnesota Foundation and a travel award to the 13th International Symposium on Dendritic Cells from the Club Francophone des Cellules Dendritiques (CFCD).
Botond Igyarto, PhD, received a New Faculty Grant from the University of Minnesota Medical Foundation, a Research Scholar Award from the American Skin Association and a Career Development Award from the Dermatology Foundation.
